The air in Fuyuki City was thick with the scent of approaching rain and the underlying hum of magical energy that always permeated the nights of the Holy Grail War. High atop the mountain, within the secluded walls of a traditional Japanese estate that felt far removed from the modern cityscape of Fate/stay night , the Master sat alone on the wooden engawa. The moon was a pale, silver sliver behind the drifting clouds, casting long, rhythmic shadows across the zen garden.
